Welcome! We are Kingdom Kids, located about thirty minutes from Port-au Prince, Haiti. We desire to minister to the children and youth in our community through an after school tutor and mentor program, providing a meal, and sharing the Bible. We also desire to share the love of Jesus with the families in our community however the Lord leads us.

Dear Family and Friends,

We are so thankful for each of you! Your prayers and encouragement truly make a difference. Here is a short update on what has been happening in our ministry and in Haiti in March & April. 

Ministry Update

THE KIDS HAVE BIBLES!

We are so grateful that our staff in Haiti was able to find affordable Bibles in French for the 55 kids in 3rd-6th grade in our After-School program!  The kids are so excited to now have the opportunity to read God’s word anytime with a Bible of their own!!   

For most families, money is very tight and not used on books-even a Bible. So, this is such an amazing gift for the kids! Pray that as these kids read God’s word that the Holy Spirit would speak and move in their hearts, and that they would share the Good News of Jesus to their family, neighbors and community!

During a recent meeting with the parents of the 65 children in our After-School Program, the families wanted to express their heartfelt gratitude to all of our supporters. ❤️

Sak Pase!  A glimpse into Haiti with Gary

The living situation in La Plaine, near Port-au-Prince, is hidden in CHAOS right now:

• Armed groups are fighting over control of neighborhoods in this area, burning homes, schools, and major buildings.

•  Families and children are suffering and living in fear as many homes are being destroyed by fire.

• Hundreds of families were forced to flee to seek safety, but even when they reached refugee areas, they are sleeping in the streets with little shelter from the rain and intense heat. 

• Roads leading into La Plaine are being blocked by gangs, making it difficult for police to respond and help the community. 

• Please PRAY protection, peace and God's provision for the families affected by this crisis.

Praise and Prayer

Praises!!

• Praise God for the generous donation that made it possible to purchase Bibles for our 55 kids in 3rd–6th grade!

• Praise God for continued safety and stability in Simonette, where our After-School Program is located!

• Praise God that the 65 children in our After-School Program are experiencing love, support, daily meals, homework help, and Bible teaching!

• Praise God for our 9 faithful staff members who continue teaching, encouraging, loving, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus with the children each day!

Prayer Requests 🙏

• Pray for the families and children in La Plaine as they face ongoing gang violence. Pray for protection and for families to find shelter, food, and clean water.

• Pray for the 65 children in our program as they prepare for their end-of-the-school-year exams in June.

• Pray for God’s continued financial provision for Kingdom Kids as we will continue the program throughout the summer months.
